Shakey Jakey is a friend and one of the best artists I know. He calls himself Shakey because he has the shakes, it’s noticable when you sit with him and he’s really comfortable talking about it, he told me that the minute he not only embraced it but made it a focal point of what he does and who he is everything lifted. I think it give his work this unique beauty. I told him that I related with my anxiety, the minute I accepted that it was part of who I was, took pride in it, saw the humour in it and it became part of me instead of against me. Sometimes embracing the tough shit completely disempowers it. I highly recommend Jake and Ange’s services I am so grateful to have had them do the photography and live portrait at our wedding. Jake was able to do the photography for the boys pre ceremony and Ange did the girls. Ange was amazing and made the whole bridal party and my family feel so comfortable and captured amazing photos of everyone at our family holiday home in eagle bay. I loved the photos of the grooms party which included our cavoodle puppy Frankie! The photos of the beach ceremony were perfect and the lighting at sugarloaf rock with the bridal party after the ceremony was truly spectacular! So many guests commented on how awesome it was to watch Jake do the live painting at the reception at Eagle Bay Brewing as guests arrived. This was a great way of keeping guests entertained while the bridal party got sunset photos at sugarloaf and the field near the brewery. Ange & Jake really listened and made sure they got all the important family member shots as well as making the day seem so easy and carefree! Ange was so on the ball and got the first round of photos to me within days so I can pop a few up on social media. Then later on we received hundreds of amazing photos of all the guests on a usb so I could take my time and choose which ones to get framed. This made it so easy to give copies of all photos to both sets of parents. Our wedding portrait is hung proudly in our dining room and is something we will treasure forever! Wedding photography is not something you should scrimp on as a bride you want to remember every detail of a day you have spent so long planning! I look at our wedding photos, video and portrait all the time and it makes me so happy to have these precious memories captured so beautifully. To know she had scouted interesting places to shoot previous to the event made the time spent with the bridal party taking photos relaxing and enjoyable. Jake painted the most beautiful portrait of my Husband and I at our wedding LIVE in February!It is the most amazing painting that we will cherish forever. Jake flew from Perth to Melbourne with only one months notice and at no point was anything too difficult.
